Columbia Station

COLUMBIA STATION - UNIT 11 was built in an award-winning sustainable 15-unit micro-community in Columbia City (Seattle). It is located in the Seattle Housing Development of Rainier Vista that is bordered by a new light rail line to the West and the Historic District of the Columbia City neighborhood to the East. The location allows homeowners the ability to live in a vibrant, diverse and very walkable neighborhood that provides shopping, restaurants and great entertainment just a few blocks away. It also provides access to the Light Rail mass transit line, with just a short walk to the Columbia Station. This transit service allows homeowners to get to downtown Seattle or SeaTac airport in just a few minutes. No need to sit in traffic or even own a car!

The home was built to the Built Green 5-Star level and is ENERGY STAR certified. It was third-party verified by Tadashi Shiga of Evergreen Certified. The community was designed to be connected by open communal space that all homes open up to. Parking was minimized by condensing the drive access to just 2 curb cuts for all 15 homes. Every home was designed differently, with no home ever being repeated in the community.
